Chippewa Ghost
This kicks off roughly the second portion of this super-sized chapter. One more regularly scheduled page this week, then it's vacation time for two weeks.

Less common stereotypes in fiction #437: Those guys who thinks the verb to fuck belongs in every sentence at lest once. Should I answer this guy's question, and should I use 'to fuck' as much as he does whole doing so?

This is how the author actually talks.

Yeah, most stereotypes are based on truth in the world that gets overly generalized. In particular, military people and sailors are known to swear a lot. (Because they often need to, I get it.)

I was more thinking that when dealing with criminals/insurgents as an invading/occupying army, any guerrilla worth anything at all will only be noticed in their home territory if they want to be. So don't expect to see them unless you're already fucked.

I saw a bad movie once which had a chaotic scene where a bunch of men were all swearing at each other. Toward the end of the scene came this gem: "Fuck you, you fuck!" Only four words, yet this sentence achieved 50% "fuck" content.

The movie was Eight Million Ways to Die. The book was good... the movie was nothing like the book.

Depth of vocabulary is not one of the author's noteable attributes.

That feeling when you are suspecting that all your friends are having a huge party right now, and you are the only one who wasn't invited...

Ha! That's a pretty apt comparison.

That’s where I’m at myself. Not so relaxing, however.
