The punchline leaves something to be desired... I suppose I'd excuse that by saying that Heinrich isn't the most eloquent of men.

Thanks for reading! If you like this page, do me a favor in getting the word out and rate this page a “5”. I really appreciate it!

OK, I think I recognize some of the people in panel 3!
(Strictly speaking I recognize the people in the two other panels too, because they are a regular and the friggin' main character - but you know what I mean.)

(Also: Artemis Mandate??)

Heh heh I'll admit I'm lazy with the links, but left to right it's the following gangs: The Smileys, Riverside Rangers, Pogo of the Unwanted, Jester of the NRK, Burton of the Furies, and Punkin of the Jacks.

As far as "Artemis Mandate"... I'm sure you've heard mention of that word before.

Unfortunately for the rest of the world, the Amazon's destruction from deforestation and the despoiling of the rivers (as well as global overfishing) may make Heinrich's statement less impressive. Still, those are awesome-looking protesters! RESIST!

This name always sounds funny to me, because Piranha has two meanings in my country. One of them is a fish, the other; a b***h XD

If this scene has been faking us out by talking about an incursion into AB that actually doesn't happen yet, (or even at all) that would be pretty funny to me. On the other hand, this story has looked like it was building to a bigger mess from the very beginning than Winners and Losers did. Is Autumn Bay a big enough theatre to contain all, or even most, of that mess?
ProfEtheric 1st Oct 2017, 11:02 PM edit delete reply
AC, don't worry about Autumn Bay. It's a city of a million people with lots of abandoned buildings and plenty of urban decay, so yeah, probably big enough. :)

All signs are pointing to this thing actually happening...

Oh, no question you could set all of the violence and destruction you need to there, that's not what I'm pondering. This story seems to be set at the national scale though, and I'm not sure how many more cities of fun have to be involved to explore that.

P.S. Welcome back to production. :)

Ah, I see.

That answer is up to this crew. My only input here is technical stuff: history, city layout, details, that sort of thing. The rest is all these peeps.

And thank you very much! :)

Oh. Hell. YES!

Also, if Tona lets "Chuck" loose in ABay, she'll lose him again. Period.

I suppose the image of Autumn Bay as an armed encampment of sorts isn't inaccurate...

SO HYPE for this throwdown!

Tona is the sledgehammer to Heinrich's tiny nail.

There may be a euphemism in that. ;)

Or like the Amazon has bugs. The insects of that goddamn hot place have the size of a bird, and they are everywhere! It's not a surprise there is almost nobody living there.

Oh dang, never considered that's one of my reader's backyards!

Well, what I mean is it's your backyard like Montana is mine.

"Oh dang, never considered that's one of my reader's backyards!

Don't worry, I know about Amazon as much everyone else here... almost nothing XD (I know it's a jungle, my father visited the place twice and... let me see... it's hot like the hell.).
