If it wasn't painfully obvious that previously unfinished business was going to be revisited... but at least maybe we'll get to see a full DoHS: MSV operation instead of allusions or a collage.

Why does Tona have such a grudge against Autumn Bay?* Did she once get mugged there or something??
Granted, her first (canonical) visit to this city wasn't exactly like a dream vacation...

* Yeah, I know, the Doylist answer is: Because so there can be more delicious crossovers!

Tona has had contempt and jealousy of the wealth and decadence of "The Coasts" ever since she saw her first BMW with New York plates unloading its cargo at Liz Waters.

Also, Ellen Greco's knowledge of the city was a factor in her acquisition by DoHS: MSV.

BTW, the whole "Tona hates Autumn Bay" business makes me think of this here...

1. hahahahahaha and we'll make 'em pay for the (interdimensional) wall

2. Prof and I have an understanding... let's just say that it would take more than a deadly hurricane or an aviation accident to silence our characters.

Civil War 2: The South Rises Again! It demands a rematch to reclaim its right to reject modernity and deny other people human rights! The idea is both tragedy and comedy because the list of technological and socioeconomic factors which cause slavery to be obsolete has only grown much longer since the times of the treacherous slave owners revolt.

Uh, the South won the Civil War.

I mean, go look at the Army... what color are the uniforms?

Are we alternative facting here?

Of course, it's so simple, just pretend the north wins and pretend emancipation really happened to confuse the enemy! That's why there's still as much human slavery and dynastic wealth accumulation in the American empire as there ever was. Why did they allow there to be a Lincoln memorial in D.C. then, just to throw people off and pretend the north won? Also, who's the enemy they've been fooling all this time by pretending the south lost, the British?

@Prof @AC:

Come on, bruddahs.

Look at the goddamn color of the ACUs and the coal scuttle shape of dem Kevlars and the goddamn beards everyone is suddenly wearing and tell me that when one picks up the garb of the enemy one doesn't become just that much more like them.

The US military hasn't fought a prolonged, large scale civil war in over a century. What it *has* been fighting recently is a slightly different kind of bearded, slavery-practicing weirdos....

Tona can be a bit predictable at times.

And seriously? Going after my poor city while I'm not up and running? Your mama must be damn proud of you...

(As if I didn't fully know this was coming...)

Bullying? More like motivating.

Prof knows better than any of you that the second you even temporarily walk away from your intellectual property... well, let's just say that nobody's characters are safe.
